Dr. David Hile, MD is a board-certified
Emergency Physician, Fellowship trained in Wilderness Medicine, with more than 13 years of experience.
Dr.
David Hile attended Ohio State University College of Medicine, and
completed his residency training at Darnall Army Medical Center
in Ft. Hood Texas, while serving in the US Army. Dr. Hile was deployed
multiple times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and continues to
serve in the Army Reserves. He was awarded the Bronze Star for superior
service while deployed as a Surgeon with US
Special Operations Forces.
Dr.
Hile has served as medical faculty as Assistant Professor of Emergency
Medicine at Yale University and Johns Hopkins University
before leaving to focus on innovative approaches to pain relief. He
combines multiple disciplines to offer effective and enduring
non-narcotic methods of pain relief. He is a member of the American
Academy of Procedural Medicine. He has been awarded the Early
Career Achievement Award from Ohio State University for significant
career contributions before the age of 40.
