Lora Cartwright: Pioneer in Aesthetic Education & Family Matriarch

Lora Cartwright is a distinguished authority in the Colorado Medical Aesthetics community, bringing over 20 years of specialized experience to her role as the President and Lead Instructor of Colorado Advanced Esthetics. With an incredible 40,000+ clinical hours and over 52,000 hours in total medical esthetic training, Lora has dedicated her career to setting the gold standard for laser education in the Rocky Mountain region, and beyond.

A true industry pioneer, Lora was instrumental in the 2006 approval of Colorado’s first 40-hour Laser Certification Course by the Division of Private Occupational Schools (DPOS). Her teaching philosophy bridges the gap between complex laser physics and hands-on artistry, specializing in high-demand modalities such as IPL Photo Facials, Laser Hair Removal, Erbium YAG Skin Resurfacing, RF micro channeling, Body Contouring and Tattoo Removal. Under her guidance, hundreds of students have transitioned into successful careers, mastering the precision and safety required for Colorado’s premier medical spas.  Lora has worked with various Laser modalities throughout her laser career, and within her last two years of treating hundreds of clients, she has made Rohrer Aesthetic devices at the top of offering excellent end points.

Beyond the classroom and the clinic, Lora’s life is anchored by her family and her love for animals. She finds her greatest joy in the company of her nine grandchildren, whose energy and laughter serve as her daily inspiration. A dedicated “dog lover,” she also cherishes the peaceful moments spent with her beloved rescue dogs, enjoying the natural beauty of the Colorado landscape; hiking, climbing and running. Lora believes that the secret to a long, successful career is a foundation of clinical excellence balanced by the unconditional love of family and her furry friends.

Approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupational School Board since October 2003.  This Laser Certification Course was Approved in 2006 by DORA/DPOS.

Must be a licensed MD, NP, PA, RN, Esthetician, Cosmetologist or other Medical Professional.
Course objective is designed to educate and provide a proper understanding of light therapy with respect to common medical esthetic procedures, allowing the practitioner to perform Laser applications in a safe environment. Covering Safety, Anatomy/Physiology of the Skin and Basic Light/Tissue Interaction. This educational forum will provide the practitioner with a deeper understanding of light therapy, and how to safely optimize treatments.
